Peak color can be found in much of the region including western Maryland, western Virginia, eastern Tennessee and western North Carolina. Meanwhile, high color can be found in Delaware, eastern Maryland, eastern Virginia, central North Carolina and western Tennessee. Moderate color is now isolated to eastern North Carolina. Peak has passed in much of West Virginia, and the higher elevations in western Maryland and western North Carolina.
Leaf drop is moderate to high throughout the region.
