Block Island

Twelve miles off the coast of Rhode Island lies Block Island, a compact 10-square miles of unspoiled land with gently rolling hills and imposing rugged bluffs. Miles of changing coastline from beautiful beaches to the bluffs. Visiting Block Island with its village, Victorian hotels, inns and B&Bs transports one to the easier pace of living of the 1800's. Biking, hiking, bird watching, canoeing, kayaking and shopping can keep one quite active.
